Brutosaur mount in Blizzard Store

Thousands of dollars of Brutosaurs seen here running around Dornogal. I must admit I would like one, but I don't see myself ever spending $90 in game for a mount. If it's ever half off, maybe. I've been wanting a mobile mailbox for a while now, but I guess Katy Stampwhistle will have to do for now.

Slime Serpent Mount

The Slime Serpent Mount is easier than ever to get now. With 480 gear from the Pre-Patch I'd bet just about any class can knock out a heroic Plaguefall.

Once complete, go back up via the teleporter and over to the lake next to where Domina Venomblade was killed. There will be a Slime Serpent in the water waiting to be pet/claimed.

Sinrunner Blanchy Mount

Day 1 complete: Oats obtained from random spots around the Saldean farm in Westfall (55, 30) and fed to Dead Blanchy in Revendreth (63.2, 43). Brush obtained from Snickersnee (63.4, 61.8) in Revendreth for tomorrow.

Day 2 complete: Brush applied. Horseshoes acquired for day 3.

Day 3 complete: Horseshoes affixed, and Water Bucket filled in Ardenweald.

Spectral Moose Mount Quest

I've been hoping to get this mount for years. It looks like someone is pushing the Archaeology profession now. Suddenly there are people running all over High Mountain.

Get it while you can. Not sure what happens on the 24th but according to Icy Veins, it's only available for two weeks.

Update!

Looks like you get a special buff for a major archaeological project when you accept it. The buff has a 13 day duration. On a side note, Sign of the Critter is now active as well.

Wandering Ancient Mount Possibility

I seriously doubt I would ever see the mount in-game but it would be cool to see these running around. Plus it goes hand-in-hand with other HUGE mounts that came with Shadowlands.

Dev Chat Notes on Flying in Cataclysm

Here are some notes from the recent Dev Chat about how flying will work in Cataclysm. I must say I am excited about just buying 310% flying. But then again another grind for 5k gold (or whatever they make it cost) won't be fun.

Q: Do you intend to have all 280% flying mounts scale to 310% when a 310% mount is earned, or will only purchased mounts do so? A: Our current plan, is that in Cataclysm, you can learn a new rank of flying that lets all flying mounts move at 310% (even current 280% mounts). That will probably be as fast as mounts will ever get. We don’t like it that when you get a 310% mount that you stop using your old ones.

Q: If 310% speed is becoming trainable, does that mean we'll be able to fly in Azeroth from the get-go? A: We have considered the concept of “Old Weather Flying.” Just kidding. More than likely, you’ll just be able to fly from the beginning.

In the first few hours after making the Celestial Steed and Lil' Xt available on the online pet store, Activision-Blizzard made over two million dollars. In less than four hours! That's pretty impressive - or depressing, depending on what side of the currently-raging-fence you're on.
